Use of This Website

The content of this website — including text, images, and festival branding — is owned by or licensed to IBFFA and is provided for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce or distribute website content without our written permission. We aim to keep information accurate and up to date, but programme details, dates, and venues may change; we will publish updates on this website.

Tickets

Tickets are sold subject to availability and to any conditions of entry at the venue. Sessions may be rescheduled or cancelled; if a session is cancelled by the festival, ticket holders will be offered an exchange or refund. Our full refund and exchange policy will be published before ticket sales open. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Film Submissions

By submitting a film for consideration, you confirm that:

• You hold, or are authorised to grant, all rights necessary to submit the film and to permit its festival screening
• All rights in the film remain with the filmmaker — submission does not transfer ownership to IBFFA
• If selected, you grant IBFFA a non-exclusive licence to screen the film during the festival and to use excerpts, stills, and promotional materials to promote the festival
• The film does not infringe the rights of any third party

Eligibility criteria and selection processes are described on our submission page; submissions are free of charge in our inaugural year. Selection decisions are at the festival’s discretion and are final.

Conduct

IBFFA is committed to a safe, inclusive, and welcoming festival. We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any person who behaves in a way that is unsafe, unlawful, or disrespectful to other attendees, staff, volunteers, or venue personnel.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, IBFFA is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website or attendance at the festival. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee or right you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any dispute arising under them is subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
